Doesn't that sound so, not scary? Anywho, so let me tell you how this story starts. Names have been changed in order to maintain privacy. (This is NOT my Nano story.) hahaha
Nora noticed throughout the day that her fingernails looked somewhat dirty. Since she constantly washes her hands, she was greatly destressed. Still, she thought it was nothing and continued in her regular routine.
At the supper table with Katarina, The High Mogul, and the High Mogul's assistant, Nora suddenly realized her nails were not simply dirty. Her nails were BLUE as were her fingers. Alarm and panic coursed through her body. What was this new disease? Was it really so cold in the house that she had started to freeze from the inside out? Were her fingers about to fall off?!?!?!!
Frantically, she informed her table mates, that her fingers were now blue. All looked on her in bewilderment for occasionally, Nora says things of special oddity. She then displayed her hands, proving to everyone that her fingers had taken on a blue tint.
Horrified, the High Mogul asked what she'd been doing? Nora was positive that nothing she could have done could have procured such a response to her appendages. Nora also believed it was some default of the new vitamins she had been taking. Katarina had been taking these pills as well. Consequently, her fingers were examined. Nora suggested that a slight hue was on the girl, and that it might be the early stages of the Blue Virus.
"Check your toes," Katarina suggested. Nora pulled off her socks to discover, much to her relief, that her precious toes remained their natural palor. However, another revelation was revealed. Nora's socks were blue. A quizzical look spread over her face. Why were her socks blue?
Then, the High Mogul posed an interesting question to Nora. "Are you wearing your new jeans today?"
"Yes," Nora replied.
The crisis was SOLVED!!!! Dye from Nora's new jeans had seaped to her socks and spread to her fingers. Another mystery deduced.
Sleep well, everyone!
